Sniff   2006
Sniff was a very special bunny and member of our family. Everyone that knew her loved her; she was the most popular member of our family. She was intelligent, active and friendly. In the three short years that we had her she broughtus a lot of joy, and we will never forget her.  The Hunt Family
Buster Bunny 2006
In memory of my beautiful, black "Buster Bunny" whose little heart stopped working Sunday, March 12,2006. You were my first rabbit, dumped outside, thin, missing hair, full of lice and afraid. Thank you for trusting me and being my funny little man. Thank you for tolerating my ignorance of bunny culture and etiquette. I miss your sweetness, sense of humor, gentleness, beauty and friendship.  Not a day goes by that I don't think of you and wish you were here. Dottie Wabbit was devastated and misses you too. Thank you for bonding with her so she could have a home with bunny love. To me you are the "Best Bunny ever was, ever will be." We love you Buster!  Your mom, Diann and your wife, Dottie
Update:  Dottie (grey) and Buster (black) are now together in Heaven.
Snookums 2004-2006
I had Snookums since she was a baby, thanks to my daughter.  I knew nothing about rabbits but all the entertaining things rabbits do melted my heart. I thought she would be here much longer.  Thank you Snookums, for being you. You left much too soon and will be missed so much.  I will see you at the Rainbow Bridge.  These precious words can only say you loved me well and are loved by me.
I know we will meet again.  Susan H.
Abigail  12/2005
My love. I will always remember laying down on my side in the living room; you hopping up to me, stretching out next to me and allowing me the joy of petting you and kissing you for long stretches of time. I would stroke up your entire face starting with your nose and ending with your ears and you would tooth purr so hard, it sounded like your teeth were coming out of your mouth. Kelly
JarJar  2003
Shown here being held by Joy. JarJar was a bunny who traveled to St. Louis educational events. His passing was very difficult, but we are thankful for the opportunity to have known him. He was a very gentle, kind bunny and will be missed dearly.
Spot  2005
Spot was my third bunny and the sweetest. I was walking my dog and saw him under a tree. He hopped right to me and I scooped him up. It was one month after Easter(2002).
He took over my room and my heart. - Cheryl
Trixie 2003  and Magic Too
Trixie (on right) here with her bondmate, Magic Too, was one of St. Louis' sanctuary bunnies. A loving rabbit who gave back more than was given to her. She will be missed by all who came to know her.
... Trixie's bondmate Magic Too is now with her at the Rainbow Bridge.
Yeti 2003
Yeti was one of St. Louis' sanctuary bunnies. She was the queen of the "shelter" and was always the first bunny to be seen. She will be sorely missed by all who spent time at "her" house.
Bailey 2002  and Katrina
Bondmate to Katrina. Bailey (on left) was one of St. Louis' Sanctuary bunnies. He passed away from a tumor that spread rapidly through his body. He was given more life than anyone could hope for and will be missed by all who came to love him. He now waits at Rainbow Bridge for his Katrina.
... His Katrina is now with him.
Pooter  1997-2000
She touched my life and broke my heart. On earth for such a short time, she was a carrot-crunching, foot-petting loving bunny. They say rabbits only communicate with their body, but she was the most vocal bunny I've seen. She would honk, chirp and squeak to get attention. Keep waiting at Rainbow Bridge, sweet girl. Mom will see you there. - Kelly
~  Rainbow Bridge Memorials ~
(Thank you Kelly for sharing this in memory of your beloved "Pooter", the first bunny listed below. May it help us all.)

Just this side of Heaven, is a place called "Rainbow Bridge"...
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they miss someone very special to them; who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. The bright eyes are intent; the eager body quivers.

Suddenly he begins to break away from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs or wings carrying him faster and faster.  YOU have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.

The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.    Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together...
